I wanted a fast and realistic rendering tree for my project. I made a tree which looks fairly real and renders comparatively fast. I found some really great looking trees out there but all had very big render times and huge size files.
I scratched my head thinking about how to make it more real.To bump the realistic part of the tree I have added 3 kind of leaves, as it is a growing object, It's obvous that some leave will be new and some old.
The tree has total 25000 particles or leave on it. I can render it in 1024x1024 resolution with 50 sample on gtx 570 in about 17 second.(Including displacement on tree bark).(In blender v. 2.68)

Someone Didnt pack textures :D
Sorry for that.. I have packed the blend file and the size has increased from 4mb to 9mb.. Yet if it doesn't work then insert the textures.

wow thanks, i might use it in one of my projects. Rest of the scene is done, Im just feeling lazy and I might use ur trees, or use the ones which i made a while back. Anyway Im gonna learn from ur creation , so thanks again .
