Here is a low-poly indoor plant in made some time ago.

The Zip-File contains one version for Cycles and one version
for BI render, also this plant work well in BGE.



With this material-setup for the leaves you don't get
a alpha problem in Blender's game engine.

Where did you get that texture?
I photograph a leaf and edited the image with photoshop. For the texture i only used on half of this leaf to get a better texture quality on a smaller image, in Blender i mirrored the texture with polygons via the UV/Image-Editor.
