Description
A camera animation technique I've developed for rendering 3D scenes. The plane of focus, the "Datum Plane" remains fixed as background and foreground subjects are displaced according to their distance from the datum plane. The camera and the lens are animated independently. This eliminates the distortion that's created when using camera pointing, or "toeing in" to keep the subject centered.
