Description
Simple model showing cross axis transmission using constrains. Useful for beginners. This model was renderized with Cycles but I think it could be also rendered with BR. The sample image and video were rendered at a very low resolution. Regards, artist.

Hi oldtimer, I really like your idea to realise something like this in Blender, i never thought of doing something like that in blender and i like constraints. I think the rotation is okay but something is wrong with the mesh, in this case the machine would break on the big rotating platform. I'm not a watchmaker, I just hope there is a solution for it to make the mesh accurately for that gear in the middle.
Hi, artist. Yes, now that you mention it, I realize the image sample is different to the the one of the video. Can you see it?. I have to make another video with an arranged mesh of the big plate. The mechanism should work fine. Thank you for your observation. I think tomorrow, after my morning run, It, will be fixed. Regards.
Cool, that's interesting :)
New blend and image uploaded. I think it should be fine now, taking into account that the transmission of movements is perfectly possible eventhough the meshes are artistically treated. Take care.
WOW! Thanks, oldtimer! You really made my day!
