BigMac burger

Description

Hi there, i'm new in 3d modeling, but i'm trying hard. :)

I tried to create a realistic burger, but it seems to look "plastic".

Anyway, subscribe :)

Not natural but it's a good try. You are in the right way. Keep on using Blender and you'll be rewarded. Regards.

Looks very good but mite I suggest one thing and that is maybe make it a little bit less shinny. :)

I guess, problem is not about shining. I did'n use any textures on "bread" except displacement texture. I think the problem is about this mostly.

I've never done any kind of bread before the only thing I could recommend would be to try adding some kind of roughness to it that mite make it more baked looking on top, but there are some hamburger buns that are shiny so it still works. :)

How are the sesame seeds done? They seem a little flat looking, almost like little guitar picks, and many of them are on their edges. The lettuce also looks very flat in a way you wouldn't see in real life, but the bun itself isn't really that far off. It's those other issues that make it seem less realistic. If they're particles generated from a single seed, it wouldn't be too much work to make then a little rounder, but the positioning may be tougher. Depending on how new you acually are to it, though, it's a good model even for someone who's been at it for a while.

By the way, yeah, it's made from 1 seed. Unfortunatly i didn't work much with particle syslem, so, i didn't figer out how to position them to the right angle, and i did just random, that is not look well.

A great start! Thanks. The new (easier) shaders in 2.8+ should help if you do an update.
