Thanks. Using your nodes I was able to get a reasonably convincing blue balloon but couldn't get a red one bright enough - it was dusky pink. Pushing the slider upwards made the balloon red at the edges but too pale across the main surface.
My settings for blue:
ColorRamp:
R: 0.35
G: 0.1
B: 0.448
A: 1.000
Diffuse BSDF:
R: 0.098
G: 0.073
B: 0.782
A: 1.000
