Here's a pirate ship model from an animation I worked on not too terribly long ago. A rendering of this popped up as my desktop background a few minutes ago and I thought "I like that model, I should share it with everyone."

Nice model. I found the animation you referred to, with the special effects. I admire the cinematography and the dramatic sound track fits very well. I like the purposeful walk cycle at the beginning. Great job.
