Description
The __Beretta BM59__ is an [Italian](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy)-made rifle based on the M1 Garand rifle, but chambered in [7.62×51 mm NATO](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7.62%C3%9751_mm_NATO), and modified to use a detachable magazine. Later revisions incorporated other features common to more modern rifles.
