Tea Kettle

Description

I did this blend few days ago trying to achieve a brilliant texture to be applied to other blend, in process. Rendered with Cycles and three images textures used, packed. Keep blendering.

Has a very vintage antique look. Too bad you didn't add any wear and tear to it.

The image I based my model on was very shiny, like new, not an antique model. That's the reason I modeled this. Yes, giving this kettle a vintage look would be a good idea. Thanks.

By "antique" i mean it doesn't look like anything modern. The colour scheme is just beautiful.

When I render this, everything is pinkish. I understand basically what the nodes do; but, not how to apply the nodes. What do I need to read so I know what to learn next. I'm kinda meh, but can edit the mesh and stuff, but; but, when it comes to applying the colors to the object, I don't know what I'm doing. I played with everything; but, I'm learning a lot about the menu system; but, nothing to render this beautiful tea kettle. Help? Or is this the wrong place to ask for help? OK Next day: I figured it out, it was missing the oro-metalica.jpg texture file. I used the sample image and replace the references to the original with the sample. The results were interesting, I had to replace it for all the parts of the teapot, and what I ended with was multiple teapots reflected int he image. Actually looks nice, though I know I can do better, just need a better "gold" file for texture. I think that should be fairly easy. It has been fun playing with this object, I've learned a lot getting it running(sic). Thanks so much for this blend. :-)
