Mystic topaz is a gem which changes colour depending on the angle the light passes through it. Something difficult to model in blender. I've had a few methods suggested this was my first attempt.The texture came form blenderbuddy's bubbles originally then I tweaked. Sorry I don't recall the exact changes but there were not a lot

I'm hoping to improve on this since it does not look quite right yet but its been suggested I try out cycles. I'm going to see if I can improve this without cycles but I will try both methods.
