Description

a set of lego-like bricks (no lego logo on top).the set is made as highly customizable via arrays. the set contains basics 1x1, 1x2 and 2x2, plus arrays that allows you to have 1xn, 2xn and nxn bricks, both high and low bricks (nxn bricks are only low).

for further explainations pleas refer to this tutorial [http://youtu.be/46GrWz99Oec](http://youtu.be/46GrWz99Oec) where i explain how i created the models and how to use them

the set also contains some basic bricks materials for cycles

the models are high poly and pretty heavy, if you aim to use them for big scenes i suggest to use the simplify optiondisclaimer: this models are lego-LIKE bricks, not the real LEGO® ones. LEGO®is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this models.

A truly fascinating video!! You have made the Lego plate truly easy to customise. First set the length of array_x_start and array_x_end to what you want the y value to be, then set the x and y arrays on array_y_base. I loved Lego when I was growing up. Yellow and white were my favourite colours of bricks. I was given a Lego model of a black and yellow vintage car, which I loved to assemble. I also remember curved bricks for building towers. Very well done for making the tutorial and for sharing on Blend Swap.

I think this is great. one thing though: it looks better if you change the shader to SSS and add a sun lamp and HDR. other than that, it's great.

Can you give an example of some settings you like for the Lego block comment you made using SSS, SunLamp, and HDR?
