Description
Finally after a year I decide to get off my butt and make something. This is a completely original robot concept that took me about 15 hours to make. It has a pretty simple rig and the only place I used IK is for the legs this time. I’ve also added a movable spring on its foot which can be compressed or stretched by scaling the bone named Spring (.R or .L). This model has over half a million vertices with sub surf and is a little slow when orbiting around in the viewport but just turn Simplify on and it will be much better. Super easy. Also if there are any problems with the rig or something just tell me and I'll try to fix it. Anyway I hope you like it!
Hey, it's me from the future. Just so everyone knows, any of my models can be used for whatever you like. :)

Hi, I really liked your awesome model and I used it for my last student animated short where I needed two robot (and had only time to model one). I pushed the video online yesterday, you can [see it on vimeo](https://vimeo.com/167889215) or in a [post on blendernation](http://www.blendernation.com/2016/05/26/short-film-start-small/). Hope you'll like the video. I created the other bot to be in the mood with yours (actually there is even one piece they share : the sphere joint from your model ^^). Of course I credit you at the end of the video and in the vimeo description. Thanks again, helped me a lot and I had fun animating it (even without full controller).
Awesome video! Extremely relatable haha.
Hilarious little short. You seem to have really nice camera setup. Good light.
