I made this model for practice. I thought it turned out pretty well. The aterials aren't really correct, but my focus wasn't on the materials. And advice is great!

Can never have to many Master swords :D . Thanks for the share. On the Hilt/Guard you can try to add insets,(With the I key when selecting a Face loop) to add a bit more detail like in the Original Master sword. :) Hope this helps.
