Wow this is incredible! It would be fantastic if you explain, how did you scan this statue [what kind of software, technic, maybe the cost etc]. Thank you for sharing this Blend :)

some advices to achieve good results with this technique : - take the pictures outside or in a verry clear room (i use to scan in a veranda) so the lighting on the model is uniform -try to use the maximum zoom level when you shoot to obtain a clear foreground and a blurry background -Use the lower possible iso to have the less possible noise on the pictures. -Use a good camera with a good lens (i never got good results with smartphone or gopro shots) -Be sure to mask all unwanted areas in the pictures, specially when there's holes in the model. (for this one, i had to mask everything between the legs on every pictures to have a good result, this is the boring but necessary part of the process) -If you can, it is better to use the provided printable markers (you'll need less pictures if the markers are present) -It is better to have smaller resolution pictures but with low noise and compression than large ones with a high compression level (i use the raw format on my camera and then convert to PNG with gimp) -Try to shoot dark model on clear background or clear model on dark backgrounds, the more contrast you'll have, the better will be the result. -It is also recommended to have a good cpu (this model took about 3 hours to reconstruct on a 8 cores at 4.5Ghz helped by a GTX980 opencl gpu), the more pictures you'll have, the longer will be the reconstruction but the better will be the result. -Avoid changing the focal or zoom level between shots, the soft can handle it, but alignment time will be longer.

I used your scan for a homework for university: http://youtu.be/Ifz0uWFCvRY I also tested the model in Blender and did some renderings: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?373412-Statue-Render&p=2885912&highlight=#post2885912 Thanks for sharing, hope you like it!
