Description

Nikon D7100 SLR Camera + Nikkor 50mm 1.8D Lens. All textures were created by me or are CC0 textures. Everything released as CC0.

Camera: 24,100 verts

Lens: 26,101 verts

You'll probably want to have at least sub-surf 1. Images shown are sub-surf 2 rendered in cycles.

Wow very impressiv! I love Nikon and use the d90 :) Its realy great done but if it is possible, I would make the textue of the body a litle bit darker ( I dont mean the flecks/points) Just the basic color, because it looks a litle bit bleeched.

Hey ! this is an AMAZING model man !! I'm practicing camera tracking in blender 2.75 and i want to use this awesome model for my scene ( just for practice you know ) but i'm not able to import this mesh WITH the materials .. i mean what i did was .. export the obj ( it also exported a .mtl file ) and then i imported both of these ... but its not showing the materials ON the mesh anywhere .. all that happened was 1. The mesh was loaded in the scene 2. The materials were loaded in the scene however the mesh is showing up in 2 parts only ...the lens and the camera ...can anyone help me with this ?

I love this model! But, since it is a copyrighted item, shouldn't it have a different licence?

Hey, thanks so much for the model! It took some doing, but I was able to 3D print an anamorphic version and it was used in a Zach King video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ti-G0U4Wnjg

Fantastic! What technique did you use to model the camera body curves?
