This thing is unnecessarily high poly. 217,000? Holy crap. The main part doesn't even had an editable subsurf to lower polycount. Everything else does, though, which doesn't help.
it is nice to see and for stock use... I see you started to put an armature but it is empty! It doesn't fit for an open-close use but seems good on its own :]
