I think the pics, just like the model, are fine. You didn't waste time on rendering, so what? the model is what counts!

Thank you Shadhan, I do like to paint by hand, rather than use textures or material, as I feel it makes them look unreal and plastic, and I love that cartoon feeling I can get with paint, and when I render them they don't look all that different, but that just my opinion or I'm just not rendering them right lol.
