Description
After many hours of work, I present Player Rig 2.0! Brought to you by the same person who helped make rigs for MCprep and created many other rigs on Blendswap.
=====================================================
New features to 2.0:
*Completely redone model and armatures
*Added easier finger controls
*Completely revamped mouth which can be controlled by a single bone
*All new skin compatibility! All you have to do is replace the eyes and mouth on your skin with the skin color, then replace the default steve skin with it, and then change the materials on the head like the hair and eyes.
*Bone colors

All rigging, modeling, and texturing was hand-made by Trainguy, a.k.a Trainguy9512
You may use this rig in animations but credit is appreciated
Please note that there are more features planned for version 3, so don't freak out if there are features missing in this.
WARNING: This rig was made in Blender 2.74 and has not yet been tested in Blender 2.75, if using 2.75 please take caution and give feedback on bugs with the rig. Version 3 is planned to work with 2.75.

I cant even see the model?
What do you mean you cannot see the model?
Very well done! I am looking forward to 3 : ) I think it is time to start making a Minecraft Star Wars movie or game! Cheers, Rex
Thanks! One of the features in 3.0 I'm working on is the ability to make arm/leg IK movements effect the body rotation, like if the arm moves forward the body will automatically bend over as well. EDIT: This feature was sadly removed, it was a bit too buggy sadly.
Trianguy Alex rig next?
Yes, I know I said it will be coming out with the 2.0 but I got busy and I'm gonna release the alex and zombie with 3.0 :)
thank you a lot.
wow it looks nice
when i at my own skin and render it my skin doesn't show up steves skin is still there
@NeonPlays Did you replace the skin correctly? What you do is go in the UV Image editor, then select the Steve skin in the dropdown. After that you go to Image - Replace image, then select your image. The only other reason it might not work is if you use 2.75.
I think you meant the *UV* image editor ; ) I thought it worked in 2.75 when I used it. Cheers, Rex
Yeah, for the past few days I've been typing on the phone, and it has auto correct and doesn't for some reason recognize "UV"
I don't know if you can make a villager rig with clothe robe and changable profesions?
I plan on making a villager to come with version 3, and yes, I plan on making changeable professions with villager robe cloth.
DOES NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT REPLACE IMAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I KEEP PRESSING REPLACE AND I CHOOSE PHOTO BUT DOES NOT REPLACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Are you using Blender 2.75?
Yes. I keep pressing replace and it doesnt do anything :(
This was made in 2.74, and it doesn't work properly in 2.75.
how do i downgrade
I think you can get the older version on the blender.org website. EDIT: Here's the link: http://download.blender.org/release/ Just scroll down to "2.74" and click it.

First, select one of the bones. Then press 'A' twice, and then 'Alt-G', 'Alt-R', and 'Alt-S'. EDIT: Whoops, wrong comment to reply to.
Please don't advertise your rigs on someone else's page, thank you.
How can i put him on normal pose??
Select one bone first, then press A twice, then press Alt-G, Alt-R, Alt-S.
Thank you so much!!! :D
Thank you i'll try that :)
By the way it works fine in Blender 2.75, so, no worries
It does indeed, its just that changing skins in this is for some reason is not functional in 2.75.
OK
You're welcome ;)
Also, I've implemented Tongue control and a better mouth into version 3 so far, plus some other improvements in the form of facial expressions.
I can't wait for Alex because I'm using all of your models for my game mineblox (Yes I did get the idea from roblox and minecraft :)
Love your rigs! Keep up the good work! :D
