THIS MODEL IS COMPATIBLE WITH CYCLES AND INTERNAL RENDERS. All you need to do is switch the materials. There are two scenes in the file, one contains the cycles materials and the other contains the internal materials. The default when you download it is blender cycles. The downloadable file has a full walk cycle and some other little bits of animation excluding sounds (because of copyright reasons and stuff).
