Barringer Meteorite Impact Crater

Description

Barringer Meteorite Crater has a diameter of ~1.2 km . It is topographically
defined by a rim that rises 30 to 60 m above the surrounding plain and a bowl-shaped depression that is
~180 m deep. The upper crater walls have average slopes of ~40 to ~50 degrees , although they also include
vertical to near-vertical cliffs.
