Description
A mid-poly model of the Mi-24 "HIND" helicopter. It's a Russian design, but it's been exported to a lot of other countries and is still in use today.
This model is a little smaller than some of my other work... Around 70K polygons overall. The idea was not to get carried away with the detailing - I wanted something that you could animate reasonably fast. I overlapped the UVs for the same reason, and all the materials just use a couple of JPG images (included).
The rigging might not be intuitive for everyone, so I've done a quick [video on how to use it.](https://www.facebook.com/345392525548878/videos/vb.345392525548878/968886243199500/?type=3&video_source=pages_video_set)

Hi Chris, thanks for this awesome model. Your helicopter's right rear wheel does not pull up correctly, the stabilizer arms go crazy. Can you please fix it? And do a tutorial how you rigged the wheel mechanism? Many Thanks, Barend Liebenberg South Africa
