Very nice! I'm guessing this is based off of the original concept art in BattleTech. You should take a look at some of the artwork for the Mechs from Piranha Games' MechWarrior Online if you want to go for a more sleek design, but otherwise, very good job!
It is based on the Original Technical Readout (Tech Readout: 3050 if you are interested :D ). Those mechs from MW:Online are very sleek indeed. I will hope to push my style somewhere between the two styles but for now, I am still learning workflows to get my models to not look like they come fresh from the paint shop (adding grunge and wear) and this is a fun and simple model with work with.
