very nice model but can i ask you a question about how do you achive that kind of cloth simulation i have been doing so many cloth simulations and i am not getting the same result as you and other thing how do you sculpt wrinkles in your models like that i have been trying to do it since i saw your model and i cannot get the same result

Just don't stop working until you get the result you are happy with. I use Marvelous Designer for cloth simulation so that as well. :D I would like to try Blenders cloth some day. I think you can achieve the same in Blender it's just harder and more time consuming (haven't tested this theory yet :) ). Here are some things that I think matter: * Simulate lower quality cloth first to get it in place, then increase the detail, simulate more increase the detail more and so on. * Work on parts of simulation at a time so it's not too slow. Try to never have unnecessary simulation running and slowing things down. * Start from cloth patterns as they would be in reality. * Seams are important in furniture upholstery * Never model or simulate without looking at good reference pictures - ALWAYS, I mean seriously at all times look at it while working (I need to improve on this myself, I often make mistakes and end up redoing a lot of work every single time I stop looking at reference photos) * Don't be afraid of sculpting when simulation is done. * Keep in mind subtle wrinkles are usually a bit less visible when textures are added.

Awesome work! Thank you so much for making this! I am trying to bake a low poly version of your sofa but the decimation keep messing up. The model seems to break apart at the places marked sharp. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Your work is excellent. Your files are good models in so many ways: - Great as finished products - So well structured! perfect clear box logic, for using them as assets in larger schemes - Good materials (wish you made them all "yesterday" so they were 2.79 Sharing such good stuff is inspiring. You (and others like you) make Blendswap worth it! Thank you, Christos
