Description
Just for fun... a (semi-fictional) engine as used in the Top Fuel dragsters. This is by no means perfect, but I think it's good enough for most purposes. Even if you don't like the engine itself, there's a ton of mechanical junk that you can steal for other projects.
Note: If anyone's curious, these engines really do have 8 spark plugs on each side (2 per cylinder).

Thats one sexy engine right there. To the 2 sparking plugs per zylinder : I saw this before on several propeller engines. I thinks one is the + and one the - pole

Absolutely nailed it! Did you have blueprints or plans from which to work? If so, where did you get them?
Thanks! I didn't have blueprints for this particular engine, no. But I'm generally familiar with car engines and I wasn't trying to model a specific one. So I took the dimensions of a generic V-8 block and relied on photo references to detail it.
You seem to have an excellent grasp of what a top fuel engine requires. I particularly liked the MSD mags.
