Hey guys,
This is my first attempt at some low poly art. Here is my low poly earth model. It is a very playful little model. I hope you guys like it. I am listing it under cc0 but if you use it I would love to hear about it!

Is it modeled by hand or did you use a black/white map for displacement? Love the simple look :D

I used a black/white displacement map to separate the earth and ocean. Then I used a decimate modifier to give it a low poly look. Fixed up the topology a little bit. Thanks though I'm glad you like it!

height of theland masses seems a bit exagerrated though ... I mean i know this isn't meant to be remotely anything that can be labled as "geographically accurate" but even for a solar system view, landmasses stick out a tiny bit too much

Awesome model man! Question though, is the background not included? Did you model the background or just use a texture? Any chance of sharing it?

Thank you for making this. I'm using it for a single moment comedy bit in my let's play series. I'm adding an anime style low poly explosion. It'll be hilarious.
