Woodcutter's Cabin

Description

This is a small low poly scene I've build some time ago.
It's all real-time rendered with GLSL in the BGE. Lighting/shadowing is dynamic as well.

Thank you @OliverMH ! I wish more artists show BGE's capability in materials and textures. BGE have some limitations but it have good features, too that are hidden behind weak effort on modeling and texturing by users.

By far the best comment I have ever seen. Absolutely too funny. I have seen your work frequently, however our game is scripted within Unity, not Blender Game Engine. I generally do my recruiting as far as art is concerned. However if you have a general understanding of programming, and would be interested in turning sides to Unity, let me know.

So you need more modeling/texturing. I'm not fit for the job then.

Or programming? If we were building out game in Blender Game Engine I'd recruit you in a heartbeat, but its in Unity. Unity logic is very easy to learn, the tutorial base is high. I'm not trying to convert you, but you've got to think about it logically. Thousands of successful games have been designed using Unity. How many successful games have been designed using Blender Game Engine? No where near as many. Unity does so much of the heavy lifting for you, you just fill in the pieces with code and your ready to go. Plus C# is such an easy language.

And your knowledge of art as a background, is extremely helpful as a programmer. Most programmers do not understand art, and therefor have a hard time doing level design, particle systems, lighting effects, the works.

This is a great 3d-model in every way: excellent modelling and texturing, nice details, low polycount and topped off with well-fitting environmental assets plus a great lighting setup. Thanks for sharing it! One of my top favourites from Blendswap so far.

Very nicely done you seem to got everything properly proportion, nothing you could do would make it better. But to look better a background would be the only thing to push it out.

Nice even works great in 2.90. You just need to import it to 2.79 and export the textures
