Is it possible to open it in 2.76 version?
I think you can't use it in 2.76 because this version hadn't the micro displacement feature.
I thought so, thanks for confirming that :) So i guess it's time to upgrade. That star looks great, if you would make some protuberances and animate them along with the surface it could make more amazing effect. Also stars don't have that high irregularities on the surface, they are a lot more round because of their gravity, but i assume that this is the effect that You wanted to achieve. It looks really great :)
