I just learning how to use Blender. This is a great scene to be playing around with. If I use it for anything, you will be credited.

This is a great tutorial on lighting and nodes -- and of course the final image is great, too... but it was really helpful seeing how you handled your node set-up. Thanks!

Hello. To use it in Unity you first have to open it in Blender, then export it on fbx type file, after this you will freely use this great wood in your Unity project.

The image on this web page is beautiful but when I download the file, load it into v2.69 and click "render" I get an image with much brighter lighting, not nearly as deep blue-green, which, after rendering in high resolution, turns fuzzy as though the camera is out of focus. I figured it out as. As a newbie I didn't realize that "Render" performs a different kind of rendering than "Animate". Animate puts it through compositing which includes a blur stage. When I set that stage to 0 x and 0 y blur, it wasn't blurry anymore and the lighting was as portrayed in the above image.
