The mosque of Mansourah was built around 1303 by the sultan Abu Yacoub. At his death the construction works are suspended and do not resume when the year 1336.
The mosque occupies a rectangle 60 meters wide and 86 meters long. The main entrance of the mosque is at the base of the minaret. The courtyard has a square shape of 30 meters. The walls are 1.50 m thick and are made of pink siliceous stone.
