First few minutes is the demonstration.

Basically i was working on getting 3D smoke in the blender GE to work, in this particular test a flare can be thrown emitting light and smoke.

controls:

W, A S D to move (w forward, S backwards, A left ETC)

Left click, throw flare type 1 (2d smoke) a short distance

Right click, throw flare type 1 (2d smoke) a long distance

Button "H", throw flare type 2 (3d smoke) a long distance

^^^

NO MOUSELOOK INTEGRATED

^^^

I use A and D to rotate, scroll up to rotate camera UP

scroll down to rotate camera DOWN

Hey yeh well feel free to use it however, contact me if you need any help. You can try heat distortion with normal maps on a transparent plane in BGE, or normal maps on a plane with similar transparent material in render. I know render will work, IDK about BGE
