Made this file during my quarantine in California while on travel. The challenge was to do this with a 6 year old laptop and squeeze as much detail as I could since this render is a close up.

First, I hope your quarantine is your last brush with the corona virus, at least as far as your personal health is concerned. It will affect us all in other ways for some time to come. Second, this is a good model. Thank you for making it! I would like to use it in a commercial documentary film. Third, why is this classified as fan art? if "(f)an art is artwork created by fans of a work of fiction and derived from a series character or other aspect of that work," according to Wikipedia, then how does your model fit into that category?

I like it, when I render it it looks like image above. Is there a reason I may be missing or not understanding, the view port looks nothing like the render.
I have been trying to figure the view port preview since yesterday. If you figure it out, let me know and I will do the same.
I checked it out, and the reason you don't see it in the viewport is because of the disabled modifiers. Enable the modifiers for viewport rendering and everything is fine again. That said, viewport performance will be bad so might be good to save it for rendering.
I made this on my now 6 year old laptop, so once I had a mesh the way I liked it, i turned down the modifiers, or turned them off in viewport, as others have stated. Sorry I was slow to reply here. It has been a little crazy. California is in a complete lockdown.

Can you be more specific? It will work if you are working with Blender 2.83 or above. It takes a decent computer to be able to render. Make suyre you render with CPU if you don't have a good graphics card.
