I think this gemstones are default ones wich you have, when you activate a add-on in the User-Preferences window.
Yes these are all examples from the add-on the main thing is the textures/material. Simple but very effective although sometimes they may not work if you join (ctrl + j) them with UV textured Items.

Hello, Do you have tutorial for these? :) I really really would like to learn how to make these.
Ok, after swapping the direction of the normals on top of the Gem. (Noticed when imported in Unity3d)
