I love the rendering effect, like in a comics, so I will download it and study how to make it in my own blends. I'm a noob :)

Will this only work in blender 2.52? I have 2.67 and in blender render, it looks like a badly made clay statue. In cycles render it looks all fuzzy, nothing like the preview :'(

The .blend file does not produce the image above. It's not a matter of which blender version. The image has a UV map, which is set to influence normals giving it a rough texture. (Texture -> Influence) The UV Mapped texture I think is maybe supposed to look like camo? Turning off Color influence on the texture yields something closer to the sample image.
