Description
Here's an attempt to make some fluid simulation with a bullet and a water sphere with 0 gravity.
After a bake and good render you should obtain something like that :

If you use Blender >= 2.62 change the "Speed" in the domain fluid sim tab to 1.0 instead of 0.0 in order to not have the bullet go trough the sphere without collision.

WOW 8O Loved the video, amazing stuff!
That's the coolest thing I have seen in a long time.
Thanks for the comment on my "Bullet Through Candy". Your water sphere was inspirational to some degree!
Thank you. I don't know how to use fracture and so on, but I'm very interested so I've take a look at your sphere fractured. Nicely done.
i downloaded ur file and baked the effect but the bullet just passes through it (water ball) and nothing happens please tell me what am i doing wrong here? and good effect btw
Ok, this seems to work for blender 2.58 but not 2.62 i don't know why ... will try to see but not sure of what cause the trouble.
Ok, it wil work with version <= 2.61 of blender, that file won't work with 2.62... but if somebody knows why, I'd be happy....
After taking a look at the Changelog of version 2.62 I've found that you need to change the "Speed" in the domain fluid sim tab to 1.0 instead of 0.0 in order to not have the bullet go trough the sphere without collision
mmm, perhaps there's something changed between blender version. I'll try to have a look
Why I dont see water ?
Layer 2 contains water and wasn't "selected". I've fixed it normally.
I still dont see water, and when I render animation, I have only one image. (end set to 175 frames) This is probably not a problem with your file, I am a beginner.
edit: I see water but still cant render animation
It should work fine. I've retested it with version 2.63a and it works well.
Hey, great job! I saw the image and I need the water material (as deeper the water as darker it gets) But in your blendfile is just the sphere and the bullet without the nice looking material.
The blue one I think was rendered with Thea render.
