I like a nice low poly model. Maybe slim up the tail and you're golden. I'd like to do a plane - do you know of a resource for good plans or do you go by pictures?

Yes the tail is brutal , but It was surprisingly quick with a bluprint off google = images boeing and a screen grab, uved textured it, took the whole scene added it to an autocad drawing in 2d and got positive reviews ,

A quick fix on the tail in vertex edit, wire frame 1- box select entire top cross section , scale down z till it looks good 2-deselect top section, then box select center section of tail above engine, scale in x axis
