This is a 3D Scan of a Beethoven bust, which is approx. 50 cm tall. Scanning was accomplished by using an ordinary compact camera (10 MP). The photos were imported to 123D Catch, a free application from Autodesk. It was then imported to Blender as .obj and edited in order to remove non-manifold geometry and to reduce the overall vertex count.

The bottom part is an N-gon, so you need to use a Blender Bmesh build in order for it to display properly. In earlier builds it will simply be an open mesh at the bottom.

I think it is best suited for practicing retopology since it is not symetric. :) Anyways, have fun with and let me know what you did with it.
