Hyperspace Shuttle 2.0

Description

An original design for a sci-fi shuttle...

Given the unexpected interest in the original model, I have gone back and put some more work into this. I'm leaving the first one on BlendSwap, because there are some things I deleted in this version. Many, many updates. Highlights:

- Fully Rigged Landing Gear

- Front Mounted Senor Package

- Grappler Gun and Missile Array

- Radar/Navigation Dish

- Rebuilt/improved Mechanical Parts

I am also including a couple of blueprints I did for this... completely fake, obviously:)

Check out the high-speed buildup here:

Tutorial series coming soon.

WARNING: This is a BIG file. The original was no skinny mini, but this one clocks in at 200K polygons. One of these days I will do some low-poly models, but that day is not today:)

Enjoy!

Hey Chris, I've gone ahead and used your amazing 3d model in a short test animation of mine. You can find it here https://vimeo.com/61062008 Even though I used AFX to animate, I was able to bring the whole model in and work with it. Hope you like it.

I do like it... very nice, thanks for sharing man. Good techniques, too... haven't gotten into video editing so much yet.

Cool. And I'm more of a compositing guy so I have to borrow great 3d assets :-) I've re-worked the shot a little bit to give the planet a bit more character and replaced the bg https://vimeo.com/61343278
