Description
The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy... not completely accurate, but passable, I think :)
Just be aware: this is a huge model, so it has limited value for anything but 2D Renders (and maybe animations if you've got a powerful machine).
In anyone's interested, you can also vote on my future BlendSwap projects [here](https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.476271562460973.1073741852.345392525548878&type=1).
Enjoy!

Dynamite job!
Sweet ride man. Such high detail, I wouldn't have even known there were no textures.
Please refrain from posting photos here. ;) Amazing detail!! Don't even think about UVing that beast.
Haha yeah unwrapping this model would be a daunting task! Awesome job btw Chris! :)
This definitely deserves to be Staff Picks!! Awesome job!
I love this lvl of detail, how much time you spent on it?
Well, I finished it in a week... but I did nothing else that week:)
Woah man, awesome stuff!
AWESOME! Thanks for sharing.
The kessel run? I don't really know... but I hear your Billybobs Falcon can make it in less than twelve parsecs, even if it is a bit weird to measure speed with a distance. ;D Nice model.
This is by far one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Ok so Han said it made the Kessel Run in under twelve parsecs. But as we all know, pacsecs measure units of distance not speed. Long story short, Han drifted close to a black hole, which allowed him to travel less distance due to the extreme gravity of the black hole, which warps space. Hence, the Falcon made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. Sources: wookiepedia.com
I believe I know what the Kessel run is... I don't know about a "Super-Omega-Plus" but I do know that it is from Star Wars as I am a huge fan. Anyways, I think that the Kessel Run was a smuggler's route through an asteroid field called "the pit" to avoid "the maw". However, it is a risky route seeing as it makes pilots and radars virtually blind, making very probable for them to crash. Hope this helps!
Yeah, it's totally from Star Wars, man, but one of the risks in posting a model from a famous movie is that someone will nitpick... which is fine, but I'm just saying that I'm aware of minor differences and I chose to do it this way.
I'll do just the opposite of nitpick. I worked with several of the artists in the 90's from ILM on a few films and if you look closely, even from different renders of the falcon, some painted, some models... life size as well as much smaller practical versions, each one was different in many ways from the next. So if someone wants to argue about accuracy, ask them which specific falcon they are referring to.
Realy nice ! thank kuhn0362.
fan$%*%^$intastic.cant wait to fly the falcon around one of my universes.woho.to much coffee today.
Cool!
Whoa. Textures? Half the point of texturing is to add detail that would be otherwise too difficult to physically model. You've already done that, however ;)
Hi, great work, it shows how much you've loved it! Please, remember that its correct name is Millennium Falcon with 2 n, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_Falcon
Problem fixed:) Thanks for the tip.
That's just insane, amazing work.
i LIKE IT !
Great to have this Classic
This a very beautiful piece of Art to study. Thank you for sharing!!!
nice
The Kessel Run is one of the many Lucas empire's great secrets. IMO it's just fast-talk.
Thank you!
Explain the Kessel Run? Sure: The reason the Kessel Run "time" is expressed in parsecs, a unit of distance, is that the Kessel System is a system full of wormholes; the parsecs are not a measure of time in this case, but efficiency of navigation through the many wormholes.
Just insane. Outstanding contribution!
simply amazing wow!
This is the coolest effing thing since sliced bread... Just sayin'
Best spaceship ever
stunning!
This is very good work. Impressive.
wish the underside looked as good as the top :( still good tho.
Feel free to improve it, man :)
NICE VERY NICE
Amazing work !
Great work thank you it's really nice details on it !
wonderfull
gj!
Oh my!! It's really the Millenium Falcon... Awesome work
BRAVO !!!!!!
Hi Chris, new to blender, but that model is Fantastic!!! Thank you, how long did something like that take you if I may ask?
hola este modelo se podra pasar a stl y imprimirlo en 3d
That was so awesome man. Nice Work. Very much appreciated
And here I am, happy because I can model a footstand... guess I'll just have to keep training for some years :P
This looks awesome! I just wish it could be 3d printed. :( Ive tried countless times, every time I convert to an OBJ or STL alot of the surfaces are flipped. and I found I cant separate shells because its just so massive it crashes my system. Anyone got any tips for fixing this file to be printable?
You just have to go through and manually flip the normals (or select some objects and do "Recalculate Normals Outside")
It gave me a reason to upgrade my ram (6 to 16gb) over 8000 parts...... lol
__WOW..."LEGEND", THANK YOU__
very good
This is insane. Holy crap.
Stunning model. You're a star for giving us access to these models, thank you so much!
"Passable"
I only get this model as html ?
Awesome model man, just wanted to tell you that i used it for a promotional video, [if you want to check it in motion](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdcFMVwzDYM&) ;) Thanks a lot for your great work.
Exellent!
Excellent model, but why so few likes, people should always appreciate someones work. Thank you Chris for taking your time to produce this detailed model.
Help I Just get HTML and blank page
Congratulations man! One of the four best Falcon that I sow. Thank's for this beauty gift.
wow thank you so mutch!!!!! ich come from Germany im new in 3D
Nice man. Inspire me a lot to concept elements called "space junk". Your credit atached and congratulations. Thank you very much! Edward from Brazil.
This is just gorgeous, Chris Kuhn! I'd like to make a "real" wallpaper of your artwork (i.e. a poster for my son's room). The respective printable image is supposed to become about 2m x 1m in size. For doing so, I might need some help by the experts: Has anybody of you textured this model meanwhile? Thank you very much! Greetings from Bavaria (Germany), Zill
You are so awesome, and I am in 2021!
wow amazing
Waaaay to much time on your hands dude... lol Great job
Astonish model!! Amazing work!! Thanks for sharing!! I made a composition with it. It's my wallpaper now! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Uq61f-seY6ehkaQF8QSW7qnFS7pRN0g-/view
Wow! This is fantastic! I'm just starting to delve into blender and went looking for inspiration and graphics to model the falcon. Wasn't expecting to find this. Thanks for putting this out there. Hughley motivating. Great Job.
