Description
Based on a tutorial from Ideafire([http://www.blendernation.com/2012/10/03/fake-subsurface-scattering-tutorial/](http://www.blendernation.com/2012/10/03/fake-subsurface-scattering-tutorial/)), I've made a Cycles version of the fake SSS shader. Just use dirty vertex colors and you're ready to go!
The model is from Stanford([http://graphics.stanford.edu/data/3Dscanrep/](http://graphics.stanford.edu/data/3Dscanrep/)).
This blend file requires 2.64 and ABOVE.

Woah! Really cool, I was wondering if that tutorial was applicable to Cycles too and I guess it was, Thanks!
Hi, i found your tutorial on blendernation and i found that very interesting, i know future releases of cycles implement this shader http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Zer000 in any case, thank you for sharing your method that's very helpful. Thanks ^^
Nice, but terribly slow...
