Male

Description

Hello Everyone,

I am a new user of blender.

This is my first Male - female base model with armature and texture.

I have a problem with rigging this two models.

I have seen some tutorial about rigging and try to rig my character; but my rigging is not that good.

I desperately need your help for rigging this character. >_<"

I would appreciate any help. Thank you everyone..

Really the only problem with your rigging is in the area of weight painting. Try this: go to your skin mesh and delete the armature modifier. apply the mirror mod. then reparent the skin to the armature. Put the armature in pose mode and select the skin. Put the skin in weight paint mode and adjust each bone's weight as needed. Other than that I like your model.

Thank you for your information Glassdog, unfortunately, that's where the problem lies... >_<" up until now, I didn't know how to determine the weight painting location on the model. and each time, I try the weight painting, the model didn't move naturally like I wanted to... hxhxhx.. by the way, thank you for your information.. :)

Do you mean you will rig the model after you finish your work first? or You will not rig the model? :'( hxhxhx...

You actually made me really curious about how to use Rigify. Thanks a lot! 3D Models from Anime shows are really rare specially in Blender.

These base meshes have an anime look to them - I like it! I could easily make my own anime characters with these base meshes. Excellent work!!!

It's very well done. The rigging doesn't work because the weight paint is messed up. All you need to do to fix that is just subtract it (which will make everything evenly blue). Nothing difficult. Though, it could help with more control if you looked at a tutorial with weight painting, but mostly when its blue, it's well enough to be rigged. Another thing is that I recommend you to do is delete the subdivision. It's making too many vertices and it doesn't really add any detail except wasting vertices. Less vertices the faster a model will run for your movie/game. Another thing is, apply the mirror modifier. Join the eyes and teeth to the mesh. Everything is great. Thank you.

I;m not sure what you did to these skeleton rigs but what ever it is you really need to undo it. Having to reset the bones to normal is extremely tedious and makes using the meshes for anything extremely time consuming...not only that but the meshes deform really badly when posing...due to poor weight painting im guessing..

Thank you for this character, my team will be using this as the base of our characters in our game thesis. This is a great help! Again, thank you. God bless! :)

I'm going to say right now that rigging a mesh that still has the mirror modifier there but not applied doesn't really work in the long run, if that will help. All in all, great models.

Can someone repost this properly rigged please? I do not have the skills to do it myself.
