LuxRender Chess Set

Description

This was something I decided to do after having discovered LuxRender. It was mainly meant for fun, but in the end, I took a good bit of time on it and was quite happy with the result. In the preview, the pieces are scattered about, but don't worry, the other pieces are on layer 3. Most of the textures (walls, floor) are from the LuxRender database, so you won't need to worry about chasing textures from CGTextures. Also, credit to binarycortex, who created the Jade material in the LuxRender Materials Database. I credit them because I modified his Jade material to make the material for the white pieces.

Also note, in this preview image, I added bloom, vignette, chromatic aberration, and glare within LuxRender.

Also, the poly count is reasonably high poly. Each piece is around 120,000 verts with the subdivision surface modifier at level 1.

Enjoy the blend!

BlenderMagic, Nice blend! I added an exit portal to the scene, and the rendering efficiency went from about 350% to ove 1400%.
