did that island tut on blender cookie by david ward,lot of good tips on that one,so i thought what can i do with this. hmmmm so i decided to make it a volcanoe. blowing up of coarse.there's alot of compositing about 6 particle systems(5billboards 2 object).the smoke sym the rocks flying out,a nice fog layer,a mini what im calling shock wave layer. alot goin on. the preview picture is a little dark,but i was night time,and i only had my cheap nicon. so here it is. happy blending. oh yea gimped it a little for color enhance and levels.
