This is the file from the teddy bear timelaspe I done recently. Enjoy...

Choose each bear and rebind the simple deform to get the rig back to active. It appears the simple deform adds about 60+ megs to the file size.

I was thinking of doing something very much like this except the teddy bear would not look so menacing. Excited to see how this is compared to how mine turns out.

This is awesome. I'm a bit of a noob though... What d you mean by redbind the simple deform? I selected both bears and unclicked deform and i also selected each bear separately and removed the modifier?

on the files when you open them the simple deform needs the bind button clicked which applies the modifier so that the simple deform cage works on the denser meshes
