great !!! i like this ! for people who want to install it , copy the xml file into " Blender FoundationBlender2.6xscriptspresetsinterface_theme " folder

You are welcome. BTW, this is v1 because I couldn't decide whether I liked this version better or a more orange-button version. This one is more comfortable to look at for long periods of time, and so I uploaded it instead.

tutorial: (simple version:) open the file, copy it onto your desktop, right? and then open blender, and open the user preferences- themes: install theme. there.

Great theme, exactly what I've been looking for. But I have one question: when I click on any value field so I can enter text or a number, the unmarked text is displayed black and thus invisible on black background. Which color field in the preferences would I have to change to fix this? (Blender 2.79 here)
