Sorry for being a showstopper, but i seemed to me that the mill blades are'nt acurate, neither in its own axial rotation, neither in the angle between them. Perhaps I'm wrong, but this last one angle shouldn't be 120 degrees?

They might be wrong. Honestly I've never seen windmills. Model was based on google images. I could do some mistakes. Not for some kind of physic simulation or precise visualization but for middle distance I think it's OK.
Great stuff!!! Although it seems none of the textures are working, I can see them in the UV/Image editor (except for the sky texture, which you mentioned wasn't included) but they're not rendering :( And I'm in 2.66 on a mac.
