Description
A fix of this mesh: [http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/3905](../view/3905)
Fixed some stray verts, bad faces, and other mesh issues. Did not fix any of the topology. Also rigged using rigify with default automatic weights.
Nothing stellar, and the topology is a little bit strange, but is a great general purpose basemesh and works well for sculpting.
7406 poly.
The original mesh is probably the best basemesh on the site even with all of its flaws, so I wanted to upload my fixed version which has given me a ton of milage as general purpose cc0.

Ismft thank you so much for helping me in my animation! I'm fairly new to Blender and I've been unable to animate because I can't make a good human model. Thanks to you I've been able to progress forward a lot!
I have downloaded his excellent model :) but i am not sure how to pose it, pose mode seems locked but it is poseable right? (newbie to blender animation)
Hi GirlRacer64- To Unlock the pose Go to your properties Box and click the little icon of the human (while in rig mode) and the first option under the 'skeleton' tab should be "pose position" & "rest position" select pose position and you are ready to go. If you press 'A' to select all rig parts followed by "ALT R" it will reset to the default T-pose making is easier to pose. Also to the author of this model, great job on a solid base mesh, This will take about an hour off my job, thanks alot :)
Thanks for your reply. Helped me figure it out :)
Thanks this has helped me so much
Outstanding mesh! very easily made to look like anyone!!! I have a video I am making with around 15 human characters. You just took my modeling time from months to weeks! Thank you
muchas gracias!
Thank you so much for this-- I desperately needed a reference and this served PERFECTLY.
Thank you very much. Human meshes were not my strong suit at all!
Awesome work! Thank you so much for providing this to the Blend Swap community.
This is a fantastic rig! but I can't get the IK to work. could somebody help?
Thank you this will help me allot
Dude! Excellent model (y)
The head bone does not work. It is titled "head" but when i select it i get ORG-hips. Everything else works great.
the model is rendered over my other models, how do I turn this off?
I think it's because you have X-ray turned. Go to Object properties > Display > Tick X-Ray. Try this.
I love you. Thanks a bunch!
thank you . its fery helpful ........
Thank you for sharing. Looks really good.
Thank you! How do I animate it properly, because it seems that I can't move the bones so he would sit or move his torso down. It just stays in place and only rotation for the main body works.
Thank you for sharing. Really useful!
Thanks for the share!
thanks for the rig. but when I open this in blender 4.0, it doesn't allow me to select any rig but the root, and when I try to move it, blender gave me this error: Python: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 4.0\4.0\scripts\startup\bl_operators\wm.py", line 2312, in execute if fn(context, space_type, self.name, as_fallback=self.as_fallback): File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 4.0\4.0\scripts\startup\bl_ui\space_toolsystem_common.py", line 1093, in activate_by_id_or_cycle if sub_item.idname == idname: AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'idname' do you know how to fix it? Edit: turn out it's 4.0's fault, I switched to 2.9 and it ran fine
