wow...this is really cool...How did you exactly achieve the snow? Or what shader nodes are for the snow per se? did you do any kinda brush mask? pliz let not my questions bore you...

I used the vector normal node and and used the dot output from it and plugged it into a color ramp node and then I tightened up the white and black values and used that as the factor of a mix shader of the rock and snow. Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing this, but the materials dont seem to work in blender 2.75.a It opens the mesh but the materials are not applied it seems. Can anyone help?? I am new to this and just experimenting. Thanks!
