TARDIS - 11th Doctor

Description

This is as faithful a reconstruction of the 11th's Doctor's TARDIS exterior as I could muster. It has lighting behind the windows and sign as well as the beacon on top that you can turn on should your heart desire. Everything is parented to a single large empty to make posing or animation as straightforward as possible. Enjoy!

What makes the file so BIG?

Textures. The included textures are large enough to support a very large render without artifacts.

Highly recommend if you do that, you reduce the texture size dramatically. As it is they are far too large for reasonable use in a game engine. Also, the polycount is quite high overall... What you probably need to do is look into retopology (http://www.blendswap.com/questions/view/395) and basically remodel this with a more reasonable polycount, then bake the textures here onto the lower polycount model. Good luck!

Excellent work! I noticed that the textures all referenced absolute paths or something (every texture was missing), but that was nothing that the "find missing files" tool couldn't fix. I'm using it in a render I'm currently working on. It's almost *too* good - such a high-quality object looks slightly out of place in my not-so-high-quality render. Thanks so much!
