Thanks chilla. I follow through on a lot of Blender Tutorials on YouTube, and this bush was part of a Tropical Terrain Tutorial series done by David Allen Ward. Since David is selling the blend file to the Tutorials series, I figure posting just one item - the bush in this case - wouldn't detract from his profits. And I'm sure a lot of people who use Blender could use this bush in any scenes they render. Thought this would be a great way to add my share to the Blender community.

Yes, but the Sapling Generator is an add-on or plug-in already a part of Blender. You just have to enable it in the User Preferences of Blender. I have yet to do a little tinkering with the generator still, just to see what other trees I can come up with - even if they aren't real trees (just thought about making trees for fantasy-type settings using the Sapling add-on).

sorry, I should have wrote this reply much sooner. just noticed this. erm, yes, I knew that sapling is already an addon that comes with blender. what I meant was you could give the parameters that go into sapling to get this, and then you could have it make many very similar but not identical plants by adjusting only the random seed.
