The table material is flat and uninteresting, not sure what your artistic intent is here. But it is very easy to paint a Bump map, then use it to blend Glossy and Diffuse shaders. That might make a more interesting scene, depending on intent of course. Otherwise very pleasant and thanks for the beer!

Yes. You'd be right if that is the intention. it depends on the kind of material we are thinking about. I've seen tables with that kind of flatness, totally flat, no bumbs. Perhaps, as you say, it lacks of interest or lessen the attractive of the scene. Anyway, it's been a good point to be taken into account for next works. Thanks very much. Regards.
